Simple Fall Hutch

Ok, I decorated for fall with orange because that's what I have. But I will be looking for some other ideas for next year. The orange everything is going to be sacked  boxed. When I heard myself say I was thinking about not decorating for fall next year, I knew I had to find some other colors.
I have seen  beautiful orange fall decor this year, but I am tired of MY orange decor.

Browsing for ideas on the web, I came across ideas for fall weddings. Same as, right?

The article suggested jewel tones: purple, dark blue, dark greens, burnt orange, gold, mustard yellow, chocolate, tan, and a pale champagne. (to drink?)

Now fall is starting to sound fun again. I'll keep my eye out for some combination of the above colors for next year.

How about you? Are you tired of your orange?

Love your china cabinet and your vignettes are fabulous. No I am not tired of orange, it is one of my favorite colors year round. I love all shades of it. Your table and hutch are stunning. I love it all. I may have to borrow the idea to add rafia to some candles, looks so good and the pumpkins are all fantastic. I also really like your beautiful dishes and the tablecloth. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

Well, I love orange in all its glorious shades, being a Leo and all, a fire sign color, etc. I would absolutely miss it if I got rid of all my orange stuff. I bought a white pumpkin for the 1st time this year.....it rotted and is already in the trash. So much for a 'neutral' autumn decor :) xo

Hi Pat, I just saw your post on TTT. What a beautiful display of fall decor!! Love all of your ceramic pumpkins! Everything looks so warm and festive! I am now your newest follower; and I hope you will follow me, too! Blessings to you!

Perhaps you should just add some neutral pieces to your fall display and that will perk you up. I think it is lovely as it is, but I know how you feel when you just get tired of seeing something. Go with your gut because you are already doing a great job! I am your newest follower. I hope you will stop by for a visit sometime.

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

Well...I love fall decorations (once I get with the program of summer ending and all that), and I DO like the traditional fall colors for decorating, but i'm getting my head turned by the white pumpkins I'm seeing around Blogland. I hate to give up on what I've invested in over the years (see my fall decorations at my blog), but may need to start moving toward white. Your table and china cabinet look great!

I do love oranges, but I understand it isn't for everyone...I like to pair it with aqua/turquoise or deeper blues for something a little different.

Orange is one of the best fall colour. Loving every piece you have set for us today.

Love the way you put together. Great inspiration for me, in a way who is living outside the US:

Happy TTT...

I love your decorated hutch for fall and the small glimpse of your tablescape - looks very nice, you should do a post on that.

Pat, your hutch is wonderful. Lovely touches. I don't care for really bright orange colors but the softer ones really make me smile.....especially this time of year.
