The Butterfly Bush is Open for Visitors!




And the wrens are working on their second hatching.

I cannot believe what good pictures your camera takes! I don't think mine will take close-ups that are that clear and detailed. Beautiful!

I want to know what is the black one with the blue tail? So pretty!

Audrey- The black butterfly is a Spicebush Swallowtail and the first pic is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. Third butterfly is a Varigated Fritillary, and that bee is not a bumble bee, it is a carpenter bee. You can tell the diffence by the shiny body a carpenter bee has. It is a big bee, but rarely stings, and is a good pollinator. :) Is my science teacher showing?
