My hutch sat empty since Christmas, due to one thing or another, family sicknesses, lack of inspiration, boredom, etc. So I kinda eased into it with white. Just subtle, easy white. (And I can add reds easy enough for Valentine's soon)
I tucked in a little green here and there, just for hope!

Love the white, very elegant and calming for all the cold, wintery days we are having! Diane
Your hutch looks so pretty and 'winter-y'. The white is perfect and as you said, you can add red for Valentine's Day. I'm trying to get some sort of look with my red transferware that's been on mine since Christmas. I'm tired of it, but don't want to take it down till I get a look I'm happy with and take photos. Hope you have a great weekend,
Babs
Love the white with a touch of green. I would not have thought of that, but it looks great! I love the cream cow too. I have one that I never put away; it's just too cute. Check it out at my tablescape post (and giveaway) http://fabulously-homemade.com
You did a really terrific job! The mostly white palette is so soothing. With the winter blues setting in, it's the perfect pick-me-up!
That little bit of green really makes your mostly white hutch really stand out.
Love the cache pot you have the plant in. Just now noticed...think I have the same tureen as yours!
Your hutch looks terrific in its winter finery. Love those dishes with the green pattern!
Love your post and hutch looks pretty thanks for sharing joann
