Actually, my most expensive find came from the GW store. I have wanted a silver wine bucket for a long time. It was $10.00, more than I wanted to spend, but still cheaper than new. Hobnail vase and platter, 3 and 1 dollar.
I adore these grape leaf salad plates, 4 for $5. This little teapot was $2. Do you put coffee filters between your plates to prevent scratching? Some people use paper plates, but coffee filters are less expensive.
This large green glass bowl was $3, and the handled plate behind it was $1. That is a full sized plate, so you can see how big that bowl is.
There are actually 5 of these green goblets.. today's price..... $2
I just couldn't resist getting another picnic basket at $3, and the footed bowl in the background was the same price. The two trays were taped together at the GW and they were $5.99. Perfect condition. It seems my GW purchases were more expensive than any garage sale stuff. Is it that way in your area, too?
This is my first time joining
There are lots of other great treasures there, so stop by!

Wow, Pat you got some great deals! Love those green glasses. Coffee filters. . . duh!!!! Why have I never thought of that! THANK YOU for saving my plates from scratches!
Wow, you got some great things! Yes, my GW is, by my estimation, quite expensive :) but I think I'm used to yard sale prices. Of course yard sales don't have overhead, employees to pay, insurance, etc. Still some great buys to be had at GW.
Changing subjects, can I just say that I love your header picture? It's the kind that the second you click on your blog, you want to come right in, sip some tea and look at all the fun and beautiful things, visiting with you at the same time.
I'll be back to see what else you have going on. Thanks for sharing!
Oh you hit some awesome jackpot treasures! I don't think there is a single thing you showed us that I wouldn't have snatched up as well! I have been looking a silver wine bucket at thrift stores and haven't found one yet. $10.00 is a good price for it! so, if one day you look on your shelf and it is gone...it wasn't me...honest...er....I will leave some cookies in its place! thanks for joining TTF and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
You are in Kansas right, Pat? I have been looking for a silver-plated champagne bucket at the GW's for a few years and still haven't found one...I don't need one, but would like one! I have several picnic baskets, they are the handiest things for storage. Great deal on the leaf plates and green stemware.
Tomorrow I will head to KC to see if I can find anything at Savers!
What a wonderful lot of finds! I've been having good luck at the garage sales too. Last year around here wasn't very good for garage sale finds, but this year has been extraordinary.

Love all your finds. Yes my Good Will is absolutely the highest priced I have ever been in. It is ridiculous! I see you have three little garden helpers-my little dogs have made paths in my garden where there are not supposed to be any!LOL!!
Wow Pat I want to go thrifty and yard sale shopping with you!! I want green goblets so badly, I can't even find new ones in the stores! Beautiful finds and great prices! xo,
