Dresser to Bookcase Transformation

My daughter bought an old dresser with the intention of turning it into a buffet sized bookcase. Here is the before with drawers and hardware removed. Photos are are phone photos so it's kinda blurry.

She and her dad took out the insides.

They then added a board shelf and a beadboard backing.

I love the hardware she picked. The drawer fronts and top were refinished and she painted everything else black.

Pretty good for her first project.

I am joining

for Metamorphosis Monday.

That's a great transformation! You did a beautiful job on it. I think it would also now be a great console to use with a large flat screen TV. Love it!
