Milk Glass and Silver Centerpiece

Hobnail milk glass and silver make a kind  of shabby and chic combination.

I put this centerpiece together for the porch.

I like the cool, calm greens and white.

I used Huechera, Boston Fern, Lilly of the Valley, and different Hosta leaves.

Beautiful. I may have to borrow some of my daughter's Fenton pieces and do something similar! She hasn't taken all of her collection with her to Denver yet so it's here with me.♥♫

So beautiful, Pat. Very summery. I like how you used the hosta, it looks so exotic. xo

What a pretty combination of colors and textures. It makes a great Summer centerpiece. Love the silver and milkglass together especially. Thanks for coming over to see me at Quirky Vistas and leave me a comment about my plantings. Thankfully my neighbor isn't trashy and I didn't have to go to the extent of putting up a huge fence! Yikes. That sounds like a pain. Hope you'll come by again soon.

I am loving this! It looks so cool and refreshing for this awful summer heat. I may have to copy this!

This is so funny - I have two of the hobnail vases right here with me in my hotel to return to my mother - the one holding the lemons and the little vase holding the mint leaves. Now I think I will keep them a little longer. I didn't know what to do with them. Thank you for some ideas! I do love milk glass!

sorry, I see they are not mint leaves but a combination of other beautiful ones.

Gorgeous centerpiece -- and a great way to show off your milk glass collection (or some of it!)! I love the combination of the green leaves and the yellow lemons.

This is an absolutely gorgeous centerpiece! I, too, love milk glass and silver and the way you tied in the greens is beautiful and I may just copy you for my next bridal shower!
Have a great day!

Gosh Pat, the milk glass and your hosta, fern and huechera look so cool and crisp in the milk glass vases on silver try.
I tried to email you to tell you about the books, but I don't have your email address and it was a no-reply on your comment. I looked on your blog but can't find it. Sorry.
Great photos, btw.
Hugs,
Babs

Pat, I think if you go to your dashboard and edit profile, you can add your email to show on your blog. If you'd rather not, you can just find my email address on my profile and email me your address. Then we can "talk books".

Thanks for stopping by my tea time post today. I love this milk glass table centerpiece. I have the exact same bowl with the lemons in it as you! It was my mother's. Have a great week!
