Rich, Luscious RED

I am in love with red geraniums this year for some reason. When I found this tablecloth thrifting, I thought "add geraniums".

I did this tablescape at 6:30 in the morning, cause it is so stinkin hot any other time of day.  I wonder if any neighbors are watching saying " craaaaazy lady". Who sets the table at 6:30 am and takes it down at 7:00 am, and no food and no guests? If anyone watching were bloggers, then they would understand.

I am joining Kim at  Savvy Southern Style for

and Susan at

for Tablescape Thursday.

I love geraniums, too. I like white ones this year, for some reason. xo

Gorgeous tablecloth and geranium! I am sure my neighbors would be talking to Howard to have me committed if I were out doing a table that early! I don't do any tables outside...too much bother for me to cart everything back and forth. Once in awhile in the very early spring or late fall we will eat out on the porch, but not often.
Have a great weekend.

I always think the same thing about my neighbors (some wathced me taking picutres of my front door yesterday). That tablecloth is wonderful and I love the solid elements you used so that it could really shine. Nothing looks better than red geraniums in a terracotta pot. I hope you cool off soon (we've been in the 80's here in FL this week).

Hey, Pat! Oh, my gosh! That is SO funny!!! You and I were caught up doing the exact same thing this week to avoid this horrendous heat!!!!! SO funny!!! I know my neighbors already thought I was insane, and doing this sort of thing pretty much seals the deal! :-) I'm with you, sister!!! You are so right on with the geraniums for this table!!! They're perfect! The bold color holds its own against the pattern of the tablecloth, and I like the way you used the green goblets & napkin rings to pick up the green in both the tablecloth and plant leaves. Thanks for stopping by my place this evening. We Midwesterners will have to stick together (literally and figuratively!) in this sweltering heat!!! Take care, and have a great 4th!!!

I love red geraniums! Actually I had had no wine when I did the pedi! I just can't see -- I have to have cataract surgeries soon.

Hope you have a great holiday this week. Thanks for visiting.

Thank goodness for tall backyard fences, or my neighbors would KNOW I'm crazy. Love your geraniums -- they just spell SUMMER to me -- and they look great with that pretty tablecloth!

Anytime there is a red geranium in full bloom, I'm all in. Great center for a table, at 6:30 am or other. Crazy lady, you're in good company. Thanks for inspiring. Happy Summer. ~CJ

Crazy girl you have a beautiful table set. Good job getting up early and getting that table set. I think I would have had to eat off it, heat or no heat.

I love red and your table is beautiful ANY time of day!!! Your tablecloth is gorgeous, as are your plates (especially the red ones). A very charming table!

I'm one of those crazy ladies that do that too! It's too hot to eat outside but I need that sunlight for my pictures! Your tablescape is lovely! Thanks for sharing!
