Trying to find Fall Motivation

The first red sport of Anjou was discovered in the early 1950's near Medford, Oregon.

A trip to the grocery store inspired me to do this blog.

I found the most beautiful  Anjou pears, blemish free and  a such a red! I immediately thought of my red Memory Lane Royal Ironstone dishes and a lace table scarf.

I was beginning to wonder if I would ever have enough motivation to blog again. Since school started I have been so busy and exhausted. Those of you who work, I don't know HOW you do it.

When I started my blog I was at home and my kids were grown. I had all the time in the world to visit interesting places and photograph everything.
Then I went back to work full time and I struggle to blog simply because I don't blog about work and I don't have much time to do anything else.
Your photos have such a pretty hue to them. They make my mouth water and I think I can smell the juicy pears right through the computer.

I've missed you. Hope Oliver is doing well. These are my favorite type of pear, next to regular old Bartlett. I am retired and still lack energy. I don't know how I ever got anything done when I worked! xo,

I'm so glad that you used the time and energy to share this lovely moment with us. I used to be a high school English teacher...I feel your pain. I remember that by the time Friday evening rolled around, I didn't want to do much more than eat a good meal and turn into a vegetable for the rest of the night. You are so right...teaching can be incredibly exhausting, even though at times rewarding. Cherry Kay

As much as I love to blog, I find it more taxing as time goes by. I'm always looking for that motivation. Love that scape. The colors of the pear are amazing.

Great to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.
