This makes a nice breakfast set, with small plates, bowls and mugs.
The juice glasses are a thrift store find, as is the coffee pot.
My 89 year old mama made the napkins, and hand hemmed them, because she thought it LOOKED better! Can you beat that? She is so helpful. (Thank you, Mama)
The little chick egg cups I picked up at an antique store.
I set it all up on my back porch coffee table.
I had lots of help.
Mr. Lucky was heard to say," I'll move this plate over here just a little."
I am joining Tablescape Thursday today.

This is such a beautiful setting -- the lilac plates and cups are stunning. I have never seen anything like them. We had a wonderful cat named Lucky and she would have liked to be up on our table too. What a sweetie your mother is and I agree those napkins are sweet. Our lilacs haven't bloomed yet and I am soo waiting for them. Happy TT. Joni
Oh I love this! I so wish we could grow lilacs here but they don't do very well in our climate. What a sweet mother to make & hand hem your napkins. How wonderful that she can see to do that at her age! Sweet kitty tablescaper too :-)
so beautiful... i love all your photos, and the topper is your kitty, perfection!
Sweet, sweet, sweet! I miss lilacs in Georgia.

SUCH a perfect table setting all the way around! My climate is too hot for lilacs so thanks for posting yours so I can enjoy them.

Pretty dishes and I love the little egg cups! Your lilacs are beautiful, we have a few more weeks to wait here in Philly-enjoy:@)
Pat, Oh! I love your lilacs and dishes. How perfect and the lavender checked napkins are so sweet with them. Mr. Lucky did a marvelous job of arranging the table... and your hostas look great outside the window.
Oh, Pat, it was worth waiting for the lilacs to bloom! What a gorgeous table -- and those pretty dishes were at Goodwill?? I love the gingham napkins, and your mother IS a gem to hand-hem them!

Love the Lilac plates! How nice you found them. Our Goodwill and other thrift stores are pounced on daily so nothing is ever available -- taken even before it hits the shelves. I am so jealous of everyone who shows their thrift store buys. Your glasses and coffee pot were real finds. Cute kitty - trained as a tablescaper, I see. We can't grow Lilacs here as it is too hot. I really miss my Mom's Lilac hedges and that SMELL!! 2die4 You brought back such nice memories. Thanks.
This is so cute! Love your little helper, too. I have tried to grow lilacs with no luck for years. care to share your secrets?
Love your Lilacs. I am so envious, we had snow flurries this morning.
Lovely table. One of my fav tables this week.

This table is just charming!! It's so soft and springy looking. Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers; you're lucky to have them in your area. You made a great find on those dishes, and I just love your lavendar gingham napkins. Your sweet Mom did a great job on them! Thanks for sharing.

Oh my word...this is just BEAUTIFUL!! It will be weeks, if not months before my lilacs come into bloom. I'll just have to enjoy yours for awhile.

Oh my goodness, this is stunning. First off I LOVE your lilacs and secondly your dishes are exquisite. What a beautiful pattern. Your breakfastscape is gorgeous. Now I just wish I was there to enjoy it with you. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty
Your lilac dishes are charming. I enjoy the fragrance of lilacs and have two bushes in my yard. The birds are fond of one of them as it serves as a nice perch near the feeders. They won't be in bloom for a little while, though.
Your mama made some very pretty napkins. Love the gingham look with the lilac dishes.

Oh, what a charming table! I love the lilac china and those lovely napkins are just perfect with them. No lilacs blooming here but I feel like I can almost smell yours, right through the monitor!
Pat, Your lilac dishes are stunning! So nice when the lilacs bloom in the yard, too. You inquired about hydrangeas; here is a link on how to plant/grow hydrangeas: http://www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/planting.html
Hope that helps!
Hugs, Beth
All your lilacs are gorgeous -- the dishes AND the real things!
Magical...beautiful. I love the handmade napkins, hand hemmed by your mom. Wonderful! Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
I absolutely love lilacs. Their smell is just beyond belief. How awesome that you have matching china to make such a beautiful table setting.
Just beautiful! I love lilacs, we don't have blooms yet. What pretty dishes, and the napkins so pretty. How wonderful your mom hemmed them by hand!
I don't have many lilacs, but tons of hydrangea. They won't bloom here on Long Island for a few more months. I have made many by rock rooting them. They are easy to propagate.
These dishes are beautiful! The napkins are perfect with them!Lilacs don't do well here in the deep south. they are beautiful though.
Beautiful lilacs. I think this is why I have lilac envy!
