She has been getting the DVD's at the library and watching them all! She loves the 60's decor, and has become the equivalent of a Trekkie. It is so funny to see her enamored of the stove on the Bewitched set.
I received an email from her yesterday that said,
"I think I might need one of those Corningware percolators... :)"
I had to laugh and tell her I put that little item in the garage sale before she was even born, and bought the high tech, wonderful, new Mr. Coffee!
I called her and we giggled and looked at the Bewitched web site together.
She also really liked the mixer on the back counter. I pointed out the orange juice cans for hair rollers. There were no hair curlers big enough for big smooth hairdos. Yes, we survived before flat irons!
She said she also liked those swinging kitchen doors. My aunt had those in the 60's too! And she thought the refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom was a novel idea.
The living room wall is a lot like my home with the brick fireplace and flanking bookcases. No bunnies at my house though.
Have some fun and reminisce at
I am also linking you to Hooked on Houses, a wonderful site, that has many pics of the Bewitched house.

Cute post, Pat.
When we made our drive in the snow to pick up a chair, a couple of weeks ago, I was sort of in 50's and 60's flashback mode. The shop, where we found the chair, is loaded with wonderful maple furniture from the mid century era, plus contemporary mid century dining room furniture etc. I could have brought it all home, but what would I do with it. The store is a dream come true for people looking to furnish a mid century ranch. I am sure your daughter would love it.
I loved Bewitched too! How fun to see so many
"modern" kitchen items! Thanks for sharing...

I enjoy very much my Corningware and Revereware pieces that are older than I am, can't imagine why you couldn't just hold on to that percolator for me...
-Daughter #1 :)
This is just the cutest post!!! I loved Bewitched growing up. I haven't seen it in years as I don't have a cable channel that plays it anymore. We, however, are so obsessed with "I Love Lucy" that we got the whole series on DVD and watch it often with the children. Then, I started collecting her "Franciscan Ivy." I love that these shows give one a little sense that things are not as bad as they seem. Thanks so much for stopping by and following!! Hope to see you again:-)
This is a funny post! Such great memories. I don't remember that awesome stove/oven though. I've never seen one like it. Thanks for your comment on my post and for the trip down memory lane. Have a great week. Pamela
I loved Bewitched growing up. I was convinced I could wiggle my nose like her and have powers, as hard as I tried, no such luck! Loved your post.
Hello Pat! I love, love, love your blog! Bewitched, one of my favorite sit-coms along with That Girl and others! Your photography is beautiful and I know I will enjoy visiting here often. Thank you for stopping by Redbuds and Wrens and leaving your sweet comment. ~Kris
I LOVED Bewitched! "Aunt Clara was such a Sweetheart". I can't look at an old doorknob in a thrift shop without making a remark about how Aunt Clara would LOVE THIS"(some people smile, and others don't have a clue!)...I must say that I MISS PERKED COFFEE, and finding an old percolator may not be a bad idea, your daughter would LOVE IT! I liked Sam's ovens, no one I knew ever had those! Thank you SO MUCH for the memories. ANOTHER one of my FAVORITES is "Mr Ed"! I gave it a try to see if it's as good as I thought when I was a kid. AND "YES" it's wonderful and FUN!!!
I'm your newest follower! I'm hoping you will FOLLOW ME TOO!!!
Hugs, Donna
