Dresser to Bookcase Transformation

My daughter bought an old dresser with the intention of turning it into a buffet sized bookcase. Here is the before with drawers and hardware removed. Photos are are phone photos so it's kinda blurry.

She and her dad took out the insides.

They then added a board shelf and a beadboard backing. 

I love the hardware she picked. The drawer fronts and top were refinished and she painted everything else black. 

Pretty good for her first project.

How's Your Color Discrimination?

Here is a fun test to see how accurately you can distinguish color. It only takes about 5-10 minutes, and is kinda fun. I only scored a 31, zero is perfect! I thought I would do better. The results even tell you where you color deficits are when you try to judge colors. My deficit was in the blue/green range. Awww, my favorite colors!
